Zealous Marketing Blog - Strategic Web Estate Development: Press Release Optimization 101

  • andybenkert · 1 year ago
Thanks for the info, good stuff. I have used a number of free press release sites, and quite honestly, do not see the value in posting releases to a whole bunch of them. Currently, I am using just one - SanePR (http://www.sanepr.com/) NFI - and have seen decent results. This is the only one I have found that allows the use of anchor text for links without having to pay for it.

BTW, I also use PR Web for paid releases, and think it is the best of those type of services.

Thanks for the tip Andy! Sane PR is one of those that may have slipped under the radar (amazing since they have such a high Google PR and we actively spider PR sites) but we've happily added to the family and will engage in analytics with. Lots of Free PR sites have popped up in the past 2 years and they all seem to follow the same format - charging for links of course.

The purpose for posting your PR EVERYWHERE, as if you didn't already know :) is SEO backlinking strategies. Quantifiable results are typically seen in 45-60 days with solid link juice and your PR indexing.

Thanks for wiriting and let me know if we can lend our expertise in your future projects!
